Title
Gerald Hill Being Interviewed (2)
Subject
Image of Dallas police officer Gerald Hill being interviewed on the day of the assassination
Description
"Original 35mm black and white negative taken by Dallas Times Herald and United Press International staff photographer Darryl Heikes. The image shows Dallas Police Sergeant Gerald 'Jerry' Hill being interviewed in the third floor hallway of Dallas Police headquarters in the evening of November 22, 1963. Bill Mercer, a KRLD reporter, can be seen at left in the image, holding a microphone and standing to Hill's right; Mercer is partially obscured by a television camera in the foreground. An effect that appears like fine white confetti scattered on the lighter areas of the image is inherent to the original negative. " - Sixth Floor Museum
