The photograph shows the stacks of boxes that Oswald used as a mobilizer for the rifle and the larges windows from which he shot. The photograph is taken from an aerial view, looking down and to the east of the interior of the building.

The view from the 6th floor of the TSBD onto Elm Street below.
The photograph shows the view from the 6th floor of the Texas School Book Depository onto Elm Street below. President Kennedy's motorcade turned onto this road before Oswald fired at it from this window. The box visible was used by Oswald to stabilize his rifle. This specific view would have allowed Oswald as many as 30 seconds to fire in an almost perfectly straight line at the motorcade as it drove away from the building.
