Gerald Hill describing his ascent to the seventh floor of the Texas School Book Depository
On the 29th page of his Warren Commission KP folder, Gerald Hill describes how he got inside the Texas School Book Depository and ultimately made his way to the "Sniper's Nest." He describes taking a passenger elevator that doesn't go all the way up, taking the stairs, and working down from the seventh floor before happening upon the evidence on the sixth floor.

Gerald Hill interview circa 1975, Part 1
First half of an interview between Gerald Hill and Jeff Meek from 1975.
This is the first half of an interview between Gerald Hill and a self-described JFK "private researcher," Jeff Meek, from around 1795. The video addresses the issues of where Hill was that day, the course of the Oswald arrest, and, notably, how Hill knew Jack Ruby - a topic that bleeds into part two of the video.

Screenshot of Gerald Hill's Warren Commission deposition concerning his assignment
Quote from Hill's testimony regarding his assignment on the day of the assassination
Gerald Hill is responding here to a question from David W. Belin during his deposition about where he was assigned during the day of the assassination, before the events transpired. He was apparently not initially assigned to anything pertaining to Kennedy's trip to Dallas. This is on the 24th page of Hill's KP folder.

FBI Document about Gerald Hill's "Rumor"
Internal FBI letter about a statement made by Hill in his radio interview with Bob Whitten.
This FBI document, included in Gerald Hill's Warren Commission Folder, deals entirely with the matter of a statement Hill made during his radio interview with Bob Whitten the evening of the assassination. Hill had claimed that it was possible that Lee Harvey Oswald had killed another police officer in the past. This letter states that Hill said he got that information from a "third hand" source, possibly from inside the Dallas Police Department.

Screenshot from conspiracy website about Hill
Screenshot of blog post blaming Gerald Hill for framing Oswald.
This is a screenshot of the title/header of a (very lengthy) article published on a blog dedicated to JFK, MLK, and Malcolm X assassination conspiracies, "Kennedys and King." The article essentially accuses Gerald Hill of framing Oswald for Tippit's murder, particularly because of the chain of custody of "Oswald's" revolver, and points to Hill's being everywhere on the day of the assassination as a cause for suspicion.

Gerald Hill's SNA
Gerald L. Hill's social connections in his Warren Commission folder.
This visualization, made in Palladio, maps every single social connection in Gerald Hill's Warren Commission KP file. A very dense web of connections, I attempted to place Hill somewhat in the middle and branch out different levels of connections around him - a few distinct "scenes" from his folder visually pop out, such as all of the officers involved in the arrest and Lee Harvey Oswald being clustered together.

Gerald Hill Being Interviewed (2)
Image of Dallas police officer Gerald Hill being interviewed on the day of the assassination
"Original 35mm black and white negative taken by Dallas Times Herald and United Press International staff photographer Darryl Heikes. The image shows Dallas Police Sergeant Gerald 'Jerry' Hill being interviewed in the third floor hallway of Dallas Police headquarters in the evening of November 22, 1963. Bill Mercer, a KRLD reporter, can be seen at left in the image, holding a microphone and standing to Hill's right; Mercer is partially obscured by a television camera in the foreground. An effect that appears like fine white confetti scattered on the lighter areas of the image is inherent to the original negative. " - Sixth Floor Museum

Gerald Hill Interview with Bob Whitten: November 22, 1963
Sgt. Gerald Hill discussing the scene of the Lee Harvey Oswald arrest on a radio interview.
This is a youtube video of a radio interview of Gerald Hill conducted by Bob Whitten. In this interview, Hill describes the events of the arrest, from the police call notifying the police of JD Tippit's murder to the chase for Oswald prior to finding him in the Theater to the Theater arrest itself. This interview was transcribed as part of Hill's Warren Commission KP folder. He gives some interesting information on his opinions of Oswald, including repeating a rumor that he had possibly shot another officer in a different incident and calling him "arrogant."
